Hull Identification Number Removed

A friend got his ski painted and they removed the hull identification numbers on the skis. I guess it was too difficult to paint around them. Any ideas on how to get some replacements? Skis are registered.

I’ve never used one but I bet the guys with those 3D printers could make the plastic plate that goes on the back

I'm asking because I've seen a ski with a big silver registration sticker on the back. It wasn't pretty. I'm trying to avoid this for him if it is possible.

You understand what I’m meaning correct? Your taking about the plastic piece that’s riveted to the back of the hull correct? I’m saying the guys that do the 3D printing where they input whatever they input into the computer and it literally makes the item out of plastic. Which I have to say when this first came out, I was blown away. It’s like magic

But I do believe Mikidymacs idea is better as it would probably be much cheaper for a one off
