Step-by-step instructions on how to replace the valve spring retainers on the Rotax engine of your Sea-Doo personal water craft ...without removing the cylinder head. This is advised after digitally over-riding the rev limiter on your Sea-Doo. A special thanks to GreenHulk.net's "connorrxp" for generously lending us the RIVA SeaDoo valve spring compression tool.

Very nice. I suggest you get a torque angle wrench like the Snap-On techangle. After you torque to a number and before you angle torque, you should also put a little paint dot on the bolt at a reference position like 12 o'clock. This helps to confirm the rotation and also verifies that each one has been done. Proper torqueing is pretty important and while the old clicker wrenches work okay there are much better available and not too expensive.

Good advice. We've actually got one of those torque wrenches, but didn't bother to use it. Thanks!
