How to Check Pump oil

Could someone here direct me on how to check/add/change pump oil. I have a 00 GTI. Thanks in advance!

remove reverse gat and the nozzle assy...couple nuts/bolts. Which then, you'll expose the pump cone. Remove the cone and tilt trailer up to drain all the fluid. While thats drainging, remove the "setscrew" thats located on the cone. Install cone without the setscrw and fill with 75/90syn oil, then install setscrew with some type of sealant on the threads.
