i would do something about the seat cover tho. my opinion it makes it look kinda crappy but it is a nice clean ski and i like the black hood, i just did my seat in black vinyl and im getting a black bar pad cover and gonna do the hood black also .

Thanks Guys! funny how life is though, last week before my purchase I would not even consider $1500 (I got 2 offers, one $1400 another $1500)..

I LET IT GO for $1200... sad huh?? I know that is low, but I had to clear out my backyard and needed to pay off the floors in my house before my new speedster payment comes in... so that went cheap, sold it to a guy in Vegas, who begged his cousine in Cali to come pick it up before I sold it... I think I could have gotten $1500 easily again, but waiting again was my worry...

ive been buying them up here in mass cheap and fixing them and making a good profit reselling them . bought a 97 gsi for 400 and put 100 into it and sold it for 1650.00 not too bad. 96 hx for 500 and cleaned carbs and sold it for 1000.00. now is the time to buy them and sell them ....

Good job, Im really not into buying and selling, just enjoying, but I did buy that XP for $800 out the door with trailer, 150 compression each cylinder, had tons of fun with it! replaced rectifier ($35), water regulator ($35), took it out 7 times, enjoyed the crap out of it, and now sold it for $1200, though I could have gotten $1500.. OH WELL, it was a nice ski, super fast, but im way tooo fat for it!

don't feel bad, i woulda said 1200, because down here, u can find them easily for 1500-1600 asking price, "supposedly" running, but yours looked real clean though

I personally wouldn't buy it for $1500.

OK... I know you from here... but assuming I didn't know you... I see:

1) a seat that is ugly (poorly done home made cover)
2) a black spray painted hood
3) all the factory graphics are gone
4) Fade on the yellow gel. (sign of neglect)

If I was looking... I would either pass on it... or offer you $1k. (assuming the ski is good mechanically) I'm not trying to be harsh... just saying the truth.

But... since you got $1200... as long as you are happy... cool.

Lol thanks Doc, I forgot to mention about the seat, I screwed up that seat, I guess I've been screwing up on my seats lately lol, bought the vinyl on eBay put it on in like 5 minutes, one of those jobs again...

Yup, I got a leftover unsold 2011 seadoo speedster, seadoo Brp was throwing in a 3 year warranty and discounts, I took possession of it on Monday of this week, taking it out today for the first time! wish me luck I'm reading the manual as I'm writing this....

I had seen your add on cl but I did think 2000 was too much. And as others metioned the seats and painted hood didn't really fly with me. I was going to offer you 1500 but id figured you'd say no. I'm shocked you went that low and I'm a little disappointed I didn't throw you an offer like that.Short story I found a 96 xp with mods for 1500 including registration.
