My 01 challenger twin 717 w new carbs and working on getting them dialed in. This was after a 30-45 min cruise on the lake. Let me know which motor looks like its too rich or lean with fuel etc! First pic is left engine,
Interesting! So needs more fuel to the mix? Odd because i thought they were supposed to be brownish like the second pics. And same with matte/dark greyish but its been confusing as i see people say opposite things like its too rich or thats normal. But ill take an answer here over anywhere else!
Oh i should have mentioned the first ones are from a reburbished SBT engine about 3 hours into its 10 hour break in if that might have anything to do with it?

I did both cylinders are great! I have the high speed adjuster set to completley closed as the specs say 1-1/4 turns low speed& 0 turns high speed adjuster. Should i open it up a quarter? Or just richen the low speed?
A stock seadoo will run perfectly on stock carb settings. So if you are that lean they something is wrong. Either the carbs are dirty and/or not functioning correctly or you have an air leak somewhere.
