How do I check and see if the VROI is working before I get in the water??

Hey folks. I need to check the operation of my VROI on my 95 Gtx before I put it in the water. Is there a certain way to check this or what is it exactly that I need to do?

The oil injection on these machines never fail. If you move the throttle and the cable on the pump moves you are good. Even if the cable failed the pump has a spring and defaults to full open. The only weak link is the little 3/32 oil lines coming off the pump, if those are original you need to replace them.

To verify, you can let the ski idle and move the arm on the pump to wide open for 20-30 seconds. If it starts smoking heavily, your oil system is working...
