how can i register without registration????

well i bought a 95 gtx today with trailer and everything for 300 bucks! thing is in great shape! started right up and everything is good, but he had no registration for it, it has been sitting since 97 and it is in great shape, trailer and all, but no registration for it... is there any way i can get it registered? i live in new york.... or would i be better off finding someone parting out a seadoo jet ski and buying their registration from them and switching it over to mine? please help!

uh not sure how it works in Ny. But the person you bought it from should have given you a title. Take that to a marina and they will send off and you will get your reg and sticker in the mail. You may have to file for a lost title. Or if it was never titled then you should have got a bill of sale from the person you bought it from, you take that to the marina and they will send off just like the title. But you will get a title this time. b/c everything is titled now a days.

Just contact you dmv office and ask what you need to do.It must have a registration number you can track to the last owner.

in illinois you can apply for a homade trailer, try and see if you can do that and aldo in illinois you have to apply for a power of attonery form to get the title back in you name ny may be the same may not be jut thought id give you some insight good luck
