Bought a new Mikuni 16gph high volume fuel pump for my 1997 Sportster. I've had fuel issues in the past, but I think they are ironed out. Is there any benefit (or danger) to installing this pump. This is what the seller claims,

"This kit features a Mikuni 16gph fuel pump which flows much better than the stock Sea Doo pump. By adding this kit, you’ll eliminate any chance of the carb farthest from the stock pump starving for fuel. The included pump has two outlets for connecting to the carbs and a large diameter fuel inlet as well as the required pulse port. By moving the fuel pump away from the engine, you also have less heating and vibration issues so this kit should help your Sea Doo run better!"

Seems like any extra fuel would just flow back to the tank, but I am unsure how increased pressure, etc... will affect my fuel system. I keep thinking "If its not broke don't fix it" Any thoughts?

I dont think your carbs are going to pull any more fuel than they need but if for some reason the pressure drops then u have it
