Went out to Green Island while I was there. I could only imagine what it's like to have a boat there.

We go to Green Island occasionally, although its a bit touristy for us. Our favourite spot is called Vlassoff Cay, its north of Green Island about 45minutes from the mainland. Just a sand island, no tourist boats go there (need a local with a boat ), but crystal white sand, crystal clear waters, turtle, fish, coral... heaven.

Nice! Yeah it was totally touristy. We didn't have many options, so a tour was what we were stuck with. I was in Sydney for work and had a few days off so popped up to Cairns.
