Water got into mpem box I cleaned it out selonid needed to be replaced
Now when I hit start it turns over and continues
I have to disconnect at battery to stop
Any idea what issue might be
I'd appreciate any advice thanks

Sounds like the solenoid is hanging up. Do you have it wired correctly? If your hot wire from the battery is on the wrong side when you engage the solenoid it completes the circuit and you have no more control over it except to disconnect the power source.... which is the battery.

hi sorry
I double checked wiring seem to be correct
Not sure what I should do next as I don't want to fry the starter

Disconnect the wire going to the starter at the solenoid, hit the start button and check the voltage to the post where the starter wire connects. When you release the start/stop button, the solenoid should drop out, voltage should return to zero. Good Luck.
