hi to all out there, wicked site, great info, need a little help though, my baby keeps dying (1997 gtx 800) after about 20 minutes of run time, real bitch to start again then very rough running, thought might be water getting in to plugs so rebuilt engine all the way to crank case, replaced all gaskets, resealed with all proper sealants, new plugs, rebuilt carbs, then today when i was getting her ready after the winter sleep one of the wires was rotted to the negative terminal on the battery, runs into the electrics right next to the battery, after all i had done could this have been the cause, lol probably knowing my luck, any other ideas please let me know,
thanks all

Welcome to the seadoo forum Paul. It's possible that it could have caused some starting problems, but for the rebuild it sounds like it was still due for one based on it's age.
