Would someone be able to tell me where the Magento is on my Seadoo GTX Ltd 1999? I have the part to replace it, but don't know where to find it.

Dude, I'm not that familiar with those "newer" machines but if my responce isn't to late, you might want to think about trying to find yourself a manual....

I have a 96 and 97 so I can only tell you were mine is located on the 787 engine..... Font of the engine. remove the oil pump and cover and front motor mount. What part are you replacing? Have you verified the part is bad ?

To be totally honest I purchased the manual and it's like reading French to me. I've tested the battery when it's idle which is 12.7, then when the engine is up to full rev it drops to 12.6. Then I tested the three yellow wires that lead into the mpem, and I cha get the fuses in the mpem and in the back electric box, but I still get the 12v low message on dash. Plus when you start her up and leave idle engine will tick over for maybe 30 secs then stop.

I'm no guru on the electrics but I'd look at the rectifier if that is how yours is set up. As I said I have the 96/97 models GTX. I just ordered one for my ski. There is a test to determine if your charging coil is bad. It is in the manual. Good Luck
