Hey guys, just wanted to say hi and introduce my self,
My names Jason and Im from the waterloo area in Ontario, Hmmm all you guys with the Blackberrys?? ya thats where their headquarters are... lol
Anyways, I got my first Sea-doo product at the end of the season last year, I bought a really good condition 98 seadoo sportster 1800 with the twin 717s, it just needed some interior work very badly, So I found a local shop that did an outstanding job on the seats. ill post some pics for you to see.
But Im not entirely new to boating, 2 years ago I sold my 19.5 bow rider with the merc 4.3HO. that boat was fun, but Ive always liked the look of the seadoo boats. I was just a little skeptical of the 2 stroke engines.. But im fairly mechanically inclined as Im a truck and coach mechaic, So Im sure I could figure out any problems that may arise.
But I noticed some cavitation at the end of the year last year, Actually on my last day having the boat out exactly so I decided to do both wear rings, and also do both carbon rings. using all OEM parts, (carbon ring, stainless ring, O-rings, accordian boot) So im thinking the cavatation will be a thing of the past!
anyways just wanted to intruduce my self and tell you a little about me, OH and heres some pics of the interior!!
