Hesitation...?

I have a 1999 GTX Limited. I bought it new…. and it has been extremely well cared for. I would say it has less than “normal” hours on the engine… and those hours are what I would term “easy” hours.

In the past few years it has developed a hesitation when accelerating...especially bad when cold, but less of a problem when warmed up (after 15 - 20 minutes of operation), but still an irritant. I just had it in the shop for the "pre" season tune up and the technicians say the timing and all adjustments are perfect. Any thoughts on why I still get this hesitation? I burn Chevron gas and have been using “premium grade” at the suggestion of the mechanics. Always have used official Sea-Doo synthetic oil...

That is usually a low speed jet problem. It can hesitate if too lean, or if too rich. Too rich and it bogs, and too lean and it sorta skips. Both feel like a hesitation.

could be other issues, but those are most common and easiest to fix.
