Hi guys, new here and hoping someone can help.
I have a 2006 GTI SE, and got a couple issues, the first being it runs fine for 10 mins then comes up with P1520 code and goes to slow mode. Run slow for a while then gas it again and it is fine for a few seconds and does the same thing. I have fitted a new oil pressure sensor as that's what the local sea doo dealer said it was, but no!
The second is it seems to run the battery flat! New battery was fitted, run it around for testing and stop it and will not start again, leave it over night press the button and fires right up???
Any ideas or thoughts would be great! I am not that impressed with the local agent here..........so your imput would be great
Best Matt

do you have any oil in the hull?

Have you measured the battery voltage while the ski is running? I would expect more than 12.8 volts and less that 15 volts. It sounds like the battery isn't receiving a proper charge current? Low system voltage could cause all kinds of computer codes to occur.

"oil cooler change"

Oil cooler change, eh? Was it leaking and did the ski run low on oil? If so, there could be engine damage causing low oil pressure.

Now I'm wondering if your dealer forgot to connect something and that's causing your battery from being properly charged.

Hi, there is a small amount of oil in the hull. I thought it was left over from the oil cooler change the dealer carried out?

I've heard of oil pressure regulators going and causing some oil in the hull and the same problem your having... Check your oil properly to make sure your not loosing oil out of the case..

Hi , thanks for your comments.
The battery is new and when the ski is running it shows 14 volts on the meter 12.8v at stand still.Even put a battery tester on again last night just to make sure!
It does not seem to loose any oil, what is in there seems to be from the cooler change. The cooler did get water and oil in the systems, and over flowed the header tank! So could be some engine damage? But runs really sweet.
But that does not help the battery issue.........
