HELP! Wire not going into fuse box

I'm working on installing the OEM Seadoo bilge pump on my 2010 RXT and the wire will not slide into the back of the fuse box. I removed the rubber seal by pushing a thin nail from the top. I have tried every angle and it will not go in. Any advice?
