HELP oil leak problem cant figure it out

On my 98 sportster 1800 i noticed today that one of the engines seems to be leaking oil from the bottom of the engine. It seemed to be on the carb side of the engine. I figured maybe the oil line to the crankcase was leaking or maybe even the motor was cracked or somethin. So I took the whole rotary valve cover off to see the line but it seems fine. The cover with the oil pump seem to have oil that looked to be running from the oil pump ass. down. The engine ran fine and did not smoke at all so there is no oil getting in the engine. I cant figure it out. It seem to only leak when it is running and a good amount. The oil lines are all tight and none seem to be leaking. What else could be leaking the oil?????

do you still have the factory injection hoses with the little metal clamps? if you do, the hoses have probably gotten hard, and are leaking around the clamps.
