HELP engine problem

Was out for the first time, actually the 2nd time, of the season. First time it started up nice and noticed that the left engine would get the RPM's up there but the right would go until about 4000Rpms and then it would die. We changed the spark plugs thinking that might be the problem (at my boat mechanics suggestion) and it did the same thing today.

Do you have any thoughts or suggestions on this?? I have a 2000 challenger. Been a great boat, no problems since we got it. This would be first time.

thanks,

Jmonk

go thru the carb/s on both engines, clip the plug wires, at boots' ends, 1/4in, and with bad motor, fire it up, and volt test battery, while holding 5500rpm, should get reading from 13.5-14.5v, anything under/over, replace rectifier.
