Help 95 Speedster

Okay i just bought a project boat... the prevous owner said i need a new mpem

Before i spend that money i needed to make sure its the MPEM

Driver side engine runs.....

passenger side just clicks...
so i did a couple things to get it to spin
first i shorted the sealnoid it spins but still slow..
The only way to get passenger side engine to spin fast is to plug in the connector from the drivers side sealnoid into the passenger side sealnoid...

So i can get the other engine to spin fast just wont run cause there is no spark.. is the no spark due to the mpem not working correctly and if this is so why does the driver side engine run fine>>??<<

sorry if this all sounds confusing... but any help would be nice!!

It sounds like either the passenger side start switch is bad or the wiring from the switch to the solenoid is bad. Check the wiring for high resistance.
