I was out on the water for about two hours with my 2007 Seadoo GTI SE 130. We stopped at a sand bar so I powered it down. After about an hour of my jet ski relaxing I decided to turn it back on and head else where. The check engine light came on once I started it along with a huge beep and a code reading P0344. I did not lose power at all in my jet ski after this and it still would go full speed if I wanted it to. Can anyone please help me determining what this P0344 code means and how I can get the jet ski back to being perfect! The ski only has 40 hours on it.
Thank you for the help if anyone knows!!!

Seadoosnipe compiled a list of P-fault codes for all 4-TEC engines. It is in the General Section; then How-to Tech Articles. You have to scroll down a bit. It is called "P-fault codes; all 4-TEC Models.

The P0344 code is "Cam Phase Sensor Signal Missing".

I'm no expert, but you probably have a loose connection or perhaps corroded connection on this sensor wire.

Remember, I'm basing all of this on the P0344 code outlined in a message from June 22, 2010.

Upon further inspection, the P-fault code is a sticky in this section.

Okay, I will check the sensors. Will the code go away once I find the issue? or will it have to be removed professionally? If anyone has had this problem or knows other similar solutions please help
