Can someone direct me on where to look. I do not want to start a topic already covered. Other day was out on water. Tight turn gave gas ski stalled. It a 99 gtx. The starter clicks/ kind of thunks. Wont turn over. Where do i start.

In your case, first thing to do is pull the spark plugs and see if the engine turns by hand.

What engine do you have?

951 pretty sure. I was just reading some more and well.....my number might b off. Plugs out. Pretty sure i blew a piston. Plug electode on rear cylinder is no longer gapped. Ive seperated the pump and motor will rotate some but not wanting to force it. Sounds like floating metal. Next step seems to pull top end. Ive detonated a piston in my yz 250.....if other suggestions im open. Not sure why i would have destroyed a piston on this. Didnt make long wfo runs use synthetic oil 91 oct fuel..... ugh.
