I just wanted to introduce myself and let everyone know to feel free to contact me for assistance with tech/mod questions on the Seadoo 4-tec platform.
They call me "Fizzle" and you might have noticed that some of my products have made their way to the online store at PWCmuscle.com.
My experience with the 4-tec started in 2005 when I purchased a brand new 2005 viper red RXP. Then I caught the mod bug. Fast forward 6 years and I've had 3 more skis since and tons of hours & dollars into wrenching. You might be able to guess that I've been through just about all the troubleshooting imaginable.
It started with the reverse bucket mod, filling the ride plate holes, adding a custom 3" air intake, adding a pump wedge, swapping the prop...Then came the intercooler, then countless supercharger upgrades, eventually breaking 80 mph on the stock ECU with my RXP. Finally came the 85 mph GPRXP conversion ski that I built with aftermarket ECU and the bells & whistles to go with it. Now I'm onto new projects and continue to develop parts.
So, after years of development, the current product line up consists of an upgraded intercooler kit, 4" cold air intake, aluminum catch can, and RXP/RXP-X extended OPAS block-offs. I have at least a 1/2 dozen more parts coming soon. Real exciting things are going on.
