Hi, thanks for having the site.
Name is Marc.
I go by sandshark on a couple other boards, seems it's a good fit for here as well.
Live in La Quinta, CA (Palm Springs area). It's the desert, lots of sand, I like water. Hence "sandshark".
I recently bought a '98 Speedster and have been working through one item at a time. History wise, it lived up at Arrowhead most of its life to date but spent last summer on Coronado, so there is some corrosion I am addressing currently, including the steering nozzles and steering cable as it exits the transom. Apparently may have some bad (old) gas, as idle is great but stutters when given throttle. This specific forum is for intro's apparently, so I will post my questions about the boat itself in the appropriate places.
Having fun sorting these things out.
I'll be running on the Colorado, Havasu, Lake Perris and Elsinore, from time to time anywhere in SoCal that allows 2 stroke, and (more often) Big Bear, where we spend a lot of time in the summer.
