Good afternoon everyone, I stumbled on to your site last night and have been reading most of the day. Thanks for creating such a place to visit and learn.

I have a 1998 seadoo challenger 1800 that I bought new and have tried to keep it that way throughout the years but I am finding it harder and harder to find good people that know how to work on it.

My boat has sat for about 6 months or so do to an accident I was in but I took it out the other day and burned up most all of the old gas, I bought 2 new fuel filters and plan on filling with new gas this afternoon. I noticed a couple of things while I was on the lake yesterday that I am hoping someone may help me to understand and possibly fix. while running full throttle my left engine is pretty close to 7k rpms while my right engine will only get to about 6300 although while taking off at about 1/3 throttle the right side seems to slip or cavitate and I have seen thee tack for it go to around 7k like the left engine. This problem stated after the right engine blew a hole in the top of the muffler due to a block in the intake line and I took it in for repair. the slipping or cavitating has been going on for about a year now and I thought it might be a wear ring but I had those replaced and it still does it.

Anyway, I apreciate any thoughts or ideas anyone may have and thanks again for allowing me to join the community.

My appologies, I originaly arrived to this section via the link that popped up after signing in, I just read the forum details for each category. I will post my questions in the right spot when I have some time later tonight, thanks again.
