I'm Brett and I started riding standups in the early '80s on a 440 and 550 kaw. Butch's was headquartered in my hometown of Grand Rapids and I rode on a lake south of town they regularly practiced on. I still have a stage 5 550 with dual 38 mods, aluminum flywheel and and an Extrude Honed pump. It pushes about 195 psi each cylinder. I bought it new in '87
Anyway, I came across a '98 GSX Limited with a zinged crank about 10 years ago. It was already overbore and I punched it one more over, knife edged the boost ports and added vForce II reeds. That thing screams. Understand, a lightweight, big bore two stroke twin on the pipe is a handful anywhere, in snow, and especially in surf.
Dirt and GNCC be damned.

It's trailered next to my wife's 800 GTX. I also still have a 1 owner '89 (sp) my brother bought new. I have a question about premixing the old '89 if anyone can direct me to the right thread. It has the dreaded gravity feed oil case drowning deal going on
Thanks for your time and rock the water!
