Handlebar conversion

I'm thinking about putting dirt bike handlebars on my 99xp. I was also going to put either a reversed trigger throttle or a thumb throttle on. The stock throttle sucks, the pin keeps popping out and its in a bad position if you want to stand. Any suggestions? Has anyone tried this?

I have UMI bars and finger throttle on mine.. But I kinda wish I didn't after Sunday's ride.. I bounced my head off of it and like was almost knocked out jaw and teeth hurt for a few days but I'm good now. Ski looks cooler but it hurts if you hit it.... :boxing_smiley:

Love my UMI steering, bars, finger throttle.. But when wave jumping KEEP TEETH and FACE off, LOL. the little pad wont save you from a huge smash!
