Hi everybody! Great forum.
I know this has been asked many times, but its hard to search for (try typing in rxdi rfi gtx in search and it leads u all over the place lol)
Anyway, I'm looking for a used seadoo, two stroke to keep costs down.
3 seater and has to be fuel injected (no carbs on lake mead in a few years)..
So, from what I understand the gtx is the 'performance luxury' model... so what is the rx?? Is it considered recreation? And what does that mean? Shorter hull and less options?
Also from a reliability standpoint, which has more problems, the di or the rfi? From my research I've found problems with charging systems (no big deal to me) but found some low hour failures on the di (low/high pressure fuel pumps, piston damage caused by rave valve? And what else??
The rfi is 110hp and the di is 130? Is the di faster in the gtx?
Any big hull/upper half changes in the 2 stroke gtx era? Maybe more cargo on the newer ones?
Sorry so many questions, chime on in!
