I have a 2007 GTX Limited. recently, while riding across some rough water, the vibration caused my storage comparment cover to break lose from the latch. the lid raised up. one of the two plastic mounts was broken but the other side was still intact. i was able to re-insert the latch back into that side so the lid was stay down. i think the design is a manufacture defect. they made this very cheap in order to promote the new "removable storage compartment". the lid is now nothing but a cosmetic cover, held in place by two 1/2" plastic mounts that doesn't do anything.
anyone else had this problem? i have about 115 hrs on it. Its not mistreated.
