Gtx, gti, xp, spx??

I know you guys are the experts. Can anyone give me a little knowledge on the difference between these models in the mid 90's? All i know is the XP's are smaller and faster.

I just bought a 96 GTI, i don't see many people with them on here... i seem to see more GTX's, Xp's and SPX's.

your ski has the 720cc, so going off that year, the gtx and xp's had the 787, the spx had 720
