GTI Engine Rebuild

Hey Guys, I have a HUGE problem. I took my engine to a local shop to get rebuilt and the shop has closed down due to the economy. So now Im left with a eninge that is tore apart. I have the top end rebuild kit for it already. My question is what should I do now? Is there anyone I can contact that will rebuild it. Everyone I called so far wants the motor still together to rebuild it.
