Ive just taken the carb off my seadoo gti 717 and have noticed the fuel accelerator pump pin seems to be locked open. Does anyone know if this pin should move or be fixed when the card is off. Also the cable which links the oil pump has broken but im getting loads of oil and not nothing! Any ideas why this is locked open? Thanks in advance!

the "pin" you refer to, is it the one that "should" actuate in/out of its own housing? if so, dismantle the excell pump, clean it up, go thru the carb, and be done with it.
When the cable broke, the arm will go to full "open", which is why, your get'n tons of oil.

Thank you for your reply seadooya! Managed to get the accelerator valve free without needing to replace any new parts. Dont think it has been working for ages as it was solid! Take it the oil problem will of also caused the slow acceleration or none if the engine was filling with loads of oil?
