GSX limited question

So I've just fitted a new throttle cable as it seemed to be sticky last time I was out and not sure how old it is.

What should the ski be idling at? And what's the best way to adjust it. I appreciate the exhaust will have to come off but how do the test the idle if you have to replace the exhaust ever time you adjust which isn't the quickest of jobs

I'm also getting a low oil warning but there's plenty of oil in the tank. The ski has been sat for 2 weeks and I've just found quite a bit of oil sitting in the hull. I'm wonder if the wheel the 2 cables go into might be sticky and not spring back properly

For starters, you can adjust the idle speed screw with your fingers and not have to remove anything. 1300 rpms in the water. Its on the top left as you look at the carbs. IF you replaced the throttle cable then you messed with the cable that goes to the oil pump as well. Did you make sure everything was adjusted correctly? If you let the oil arm go, its sprung and is not correct.

Well that is my question , how do I know if everything is adjusted correctly?

The oil pump has 2 lines that need to match up. You can download the shop manual for free online. It will explain in detail on what to do.

No the idle screw is just a mechanical adjustment on the carb that does the same as putting a little pressure on the throttle. The oiler has it's own adjustment on the cable. You want to adjust that so the lines on the oiler are inline when you are at an idle.
