New guy here from the UK.

I am trying to fix a Sea-Doo for my neighbour and I am trying to identify the model. Which bit of the forum would it be best for me to post in about this?

Welcome to the forum.

We need to know the model and year then we can direct you to the correct section.
The last two digits of the VIN number will be the year.

It seems as if it a 97 GTX model.

Post pics of ski and engine and black plastic strip on right rear side of ski body
Look around the engine and you should find a ID plate indicating serial number and or Cc
