Hi everybody. I'm new to the forum and must say there seems to be a wealth of knowledgable people here.

I've also got a weird problem with my 2005 Utopia SE boat. Background: Bought it new about 3 years ago (NOS boat, left over at a dealer). Been running fine. Probably have less than 20 hrs. on it. 250 hp Optimax motor. Last week, I was putting the boat in the water. Backed the boat to ramp. Got in, started the motor, all's well. My brother then backed the boat trailer down the ramp and into the water. As soon as the boat jet intake hit the water, the intermittent alarm went off, beep, beep, beep. Pulled the boat out of the water, and it stops. Took it home, hooked up the water hose to the cleanout, ran the motor - no alarm. Appears to be getting water up into the motor from the intake. Oil is full in the top tank of the motor, lower tank (where you fill it) is about half full. Put the boat in the water again, and same problem. Anybody else ever had this problem? Weird!

Can't say I've heard of that problem.

You may have to take it to a dealer to pull the codes to find out what the problem is.
