Fired up the boat out of water this past weekend after the long winter to find that one engine is spewing out a Gray oily substance from the exhaust.
Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Cole

The first time I turned over our speedster after we bought it I had a little of the same. Possibly due to oil sitting in the engine for a time and turning nasty. I ran bot engines on the hose for about 5-10 minutes and haven't had any issues since. Is this a continuous problem you are having?

Possible that the oil injector is getting stuck open and letting to much oil into the engine. Could be a bad seal.

Does the engine having the problem still run as strong as the other engine? If not you might want to consider a commpression test.

I doubt it's the oil injection but check that the alignment marks are lined up at idle. If problem persists because of too much oil and your engine has a rotery valve it could be a leaking crank seal allowing oil from the rotary valve chamber to leak into the case.
