Thinking of going out tomorrow. Calling for a high of 45, but the river has a channel in the ice from my launch area 8 miles to the mouth of the Chena. If the water is flowing then it's DOO time! We'll see how motivated I am in the morning.........

Sharp looking machine in the first picture, the second........ Not so much. But I'm sure after a good wash it will look a lot better than mine.

Oh yeah! First ride!

And don't ask me why the picture is sideways, it wasn't taken that way.... and nothing I do will load right side up (hate computers).

Can’t even do that here. Lake frozen solid! I do not expect to see clear water for another 10-14 days. We got all your cold weather this winter.

Lakes are still a month away from getting rid of the ice. The river is barely rideable. I sucked a bunch of rocks in just after the picture was taken, no damage. Ice floes were getting caught in the shallow areas blocking a lot of the river. The level was VERY low with dry areas showing up that I have never seen before. I only put on a few miles and parked it, not enough water to ride on without hitting bottom somewhere.

Also planning on going out again tomorrow, rain has stopped and water level has increased enough to make it to the buoy track set up nearby where I drop them off. I think high is in the 80s?

Looks like you guys had fun...i never made it out. The winds are up today and temp @82. I will try tomorrow.

Saturday we ran 6 skis over 50 miles and stopped at multiple springs along the way. It was a great day for me riding with my dad, brother, son and 2 best friends. IMG_0894.JPG

Both ran well today, went about 30 miles around the channels and almost forgot I was low on oil! Ordered some on amazon from my phone lol..
