Hi all,
I'm going to pick up my 2011 GTI SE 155 at the end of this month. Being that this would be my first brand new Sea Doo, I have a few quick questions. Is there anything I should know before I take delivery? Should I buy any accessories,
what type of maintenance schedule do I need to follow, is there a break in for these units? I just thought I would get a head start with some of these questions that are running through my head. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Accessories and break in

Congradulations!

Depending upon where you live, consider a wet suit because you are going to want to dunk that thing in the water as soon as you can. I'm middle aged, so for me, I'd want a boarding ladder. Add a trailer, cover and possibly and cooling system flush attachment so you can flush after use and start it in the driveway. Check local guidelines for safety equipment and get some pfd's too. The single best accessory ... a second seadoo ....

As far as break-in goes, don't beat it for the first ten hours. Use the search function on here for break in recommendations but generally avoid the urge to "see what she'll do." At ten hours you'll need to take it to the dealer for the ten hour check and to "reset" the computer with the "buds" systems at the dealer.

Enjoy!!!

Thanks for the info. When I ordered it I got the trailer and cover right away. I'll have to look into the cooling flush attachment though. That sounds like a good idea. I wasn't going to beat it at first, but the ten hour rule sounds like a good idea too.

Yeah, if only I could talk my wife into another sea doo..Haha!! I'm not really sure how I even talked her into this one. But as they say, you never know. Thanks for all the great tips. I could ask the dealer these things, but I'm excited to start the season and like talking about it.

Thanks again!!!
