i was wondering why it didn't making any buzzing noises. this probably has something to do with it.

i have no idea but the black sealant was scrapped all up like they dug into the board or something. then they used a hot glue gun to seal it back up.

after doing some searching, i think this is someone handy work while repairing the diode on the board.

i will have my hands full with this boat this winter. going into the garage to get things in much better shape.
