I seem to be having a problem with the gauges on my 1998 GSX Ltd. I suspect a problem with the MPEM but I have no idea how to fix it. Here are the simptoms:
- The gauges won't shutoff. If I don't unplug them from the MPEM, they will eventually drain the battery.
- When I plug them back in, the "Maint" warning and LED will flash. I have to reset it every time I plug them back in.
- The "hours" are pegged at 999.9
Anyone ever see this sort of thing?
