Gauge cluster exchange

Can you swap out, instrument clusters from one ski to another. I have a 2004 4 tec I m parting out ,My 2004 4 tec (exact ski) has a instrument cluster that's not working ,can I swap the one in my parts ski to the good ski without doing anything but plugging it in

I’m new to this ski world. But I have read u can change out the cluster and it will read all same information. As the ski ur putting it on. Because all the info comes from the computer.

Yes. I have a 2004 as well and you can in fact swap them with no issues

All correct. I've changed two information centers and moved them from ski to ski. On the older models, the information (hours etc) is stored in the ECU's non-volatile memory.

Thank you all for the information.Just got my information center back from having it repaired at Performance Design, Lake Mary FL .Installed it looks and operates like a new one
