gas question

i got a 2000 seadoo rx went ride yesterday filled it uo with about 15 gallons rode non stop for 6 hours and its close to empty is that normal i have carbs my dad has a 2000 seadoo gtx fuel injection and only burned half

WOT will burn gas quickly...sounds about right to me

we have the same engines but mines carbed and his is fuel injected fuel injected gets better gas milege? hes at half im close to empty

I'm surprised it lasted that long.

As said above... WOT takes a lot of fuel... so if you were playing for 6hr straight, then there must have been a lot of low throttle time.


And yes, the injected Doo's burn about 15% less fuel.

Last thing... your dad's ski... if it's an RFI, it's also got a smaller engine, if it's a DI, then it's the same engine, with better fuel economy.

The quoted fuel at WOT is 14.5 gal/hr for your RX... 11 gal/hr for the RFI, and 12.5 gal/hr for the DI.

well then i guess that was good cause we was riding non stop for atleast 6 ina half hours =]

anyone can help me find the thread on the procedure for draing the oil im puttin different oil and dont want to mix 2 diff brands
