I have a 1992 GTS with the 580, and I wanted to get a fuel gauge/oil light so as to never again burn out my top end by running out of oil. My wire harness has a spare 6-wire connector and a two-wire connector. I saw online some fuel/oil gauges that had corresponding connectors, but looking at my tank/oil reservoir, I did not see any wires coming from them. I don't think I have the sending units for the gauge.
My ? is: do I have to get new tanks that can fit the sending units, or is there a model year of fuel/oil sending units out there that I can buy that will fit my 1992 tanks.
