I will have to rebuild in the engine in my 2002 GTI with the 717 engine. I am looking at having either Fullbore or East Coast Cycle handle the rebuild. Who do you recommend and why???

Thanks
Todd

why do people post the exact same question in two different sub forums? your post will be seen, you dont need to post it twice.

Oh, I don't know. Maybe for the same reason some people answer a question with a QUESTION!!!!!! Or maybe for another reason BECAUSE THEY CAN!!!!!

I was just pointing out that you don't need to junk up the boards with multiple posts that say the same thing. And I won't even comment on your immaturity in your post above this one.

I used SBT for a top end kit. The product looks good but I didn't install it on my boat yet (just got it a few days ago). I'll report back when I get the boat running

If I would have found out about full bore before I ordered from SBT I probably would have used them. Quite a few members have posted positive comments about them

I don't see how asking the same question in more than one sub forum is "junking up" the site. Not everyone reads every post in every sub forum. I was just trying to reach the most people I could for an answer.

As for immaturity I think you showed yours very well with your first response to my original question. If my multiple posts bother you I would suggest you don't read them in the future.

Have a nice day!!!!!

You're welcome for the help.

I used fullbore in Alpena, MI. The main reason was because I called the shop on a Saturday in December and the owner (Dan) answered the phone (they are closed on Saturdays in the winter) He spent some time answering all my question. They did a great job on my cylinders and rave valves.
