I need to replace the o-ring on the fuel/water bowl, part # 275500090. I found a few online but don't care to wait since I was hoping to add some petro this weekend to see if my winter rebuild was successful.....been too long!
Anyone been able to find a suitable 0-ring at the local auto parts?

No, they simply don't work. The closest thing is a 1.5" o.d. and 1.25" i.d. but even that just doesn't fit perfect. One needs an o ring with a .093 wall thickness and a 1.490 o.d. to be perfect. I went to every automotive, farm supply, and home improvement store and searched their entire inventories and brought home ANYTHING that looked possible and...no dice.

This is one of those items that must be the factory item.
Sorry.

Yup. Only works for this one. You can just bypass that filter for the weekend tho. I think i had mine bypassed all last summer. LOL

Just got off phone with these guys. The have 3 OEM brand new o-rings in stock @ $6.99 ea.

This is amazing that a standard size wont work - the dimensions of 1.490 OD, .093 W, are almost exactly the nominal size of a standard o-ring. Parker 2-125 is a good match.

If I remember correctly this is not a standard o-ring the cross section is actually square not round like a typ. one. You could just bypass it for the weekend and add a Fram inline filter. I think it is the G2.

Ask for Tanner in parts extension 1 at TPS Raleigh.

They don't have them in stock at dealer but BRP Georgia hub warehouse does and can have them to TPS Raleigh by friday if they are ordered today before 2 pm.

Get on it ! :D

Correct, these are square edged, not round like a normal o-ring.

Thanks Rob for the effort! Earlier I called my daughter in Greenville and sent her to NC PowerSports and got one. She just mailed it and should be here on Friday.
