The plate that holds the rear set of straps over the fuel tank broke away from the hull. The fuel tank still seems to be fairly secure, but I am wondering what would happen if the front straps break. I would assume I would have to remove the tank to do the repair? How difficult would that be?

If you remove the forward air inlet pipe and disconnect everything from the fuel tank and take the front panel out of the front bin so you can shift the fuel tank forwards into that compartment you will be able to re-rivet the bracket back on in its place.

fuel tank needs to be almost empty to shift it inside the hull.

I saw online that they make a heavy duty aftermarket fuel tank strap system for Sea Doos.

If you google it I am sure you will find it.
