Does anyone know where to buy a fuel pump for a 97 GS? Seems I have to buy the whole baffle or nothing.

There is no fuel pump in the tank, just a baffle with pickup tubes and the gas gauge sending unit.

The only fuel pump on your ski is part of the front carb body.

That makes sense, thanks.
I am having a fuel supply problem. It will only start if I put my hand over the carb and will only say running temporarily. Any throttle and and dies. I have all new gas lines, cleaned carb which was spotless, cleaned On /off /res selector. What can I do to the front carb body to eliminate or repair? Any other advise?
Thank you

Well first you need to replace the fuel selector. I know you cleaned it, but the solvents in carb cleaner actually tend to dry out the seals and make them worse. They’re cheap, so just replace it now...

Second, replace the o ring on your fuel selector. It’s a common place for air leaks, and it’s very important that it seals correctly.

Third, take the carbs back apart and rebuild them with genuine Mikuni parts. DO NOT USE AFTERMARKET CARB PARTS!!! That emphasis is intentional. You will have problems with anything else... There is a carb rebuild sticky on the top of the forum. Follow those instructions exactly, as the carbs are very finicky on these things, and missing something small makes a big difference...

Question about Carb rebuild, there was only one of those clear circular check valves when I took the carb apart. There was a second grommet with no valve. The instructions are a little confusing, is there suppose to be two or just one of those check with BN 38?
Thanks
