hey i have a 1997 gti, just did the f1 fuse fix for my gass gauge, but in my readings i seen everyone talk about changeing the fuel lines as well is that something i should look into doing as well. if so what size lines do i need and aproximately how much of it will i need?

I have a 97 GTX and got a 25' spool of 1/4" hose and about 25 to 30 stainless steel clamps from Advanced Auto. Used about 23 foot of the spool but cut exactly to length. If had to do it again I would provide a little extra length (inch or two here and there) to allow lines to be better secured to the hull...just my personal opinion on that though

you think its something i should do sooner rather than later or is it one of those things that i should wait till it has to be done

its up to you when to do it. It may run fine for a long time, but be advised your sitting on a time bomb. Your ski will let you know you should have replaced the lines at the worst possible time, youl be on the water away from your trailer wanting to ride.

Haha yea that's how I realized I needed new motor mounts, I was about a mile and a half from dock when it decides to break loose from the driveshaft and strand me. Its cheap enough for fuel lines guess better safe than sorry.

hey i was changeing my fuel lines the other day and came across a clean hose that connects to a vent on the right side of the hull right next to ware the fuel line vent is, but i followed the cleal line back and it isnt conected to anything. it is a 1997 seadoo gti i was wondering if anyone knew what this line is for and what its suppose to be connected to. it is a long line and runs along the right hand side of the hull. thanks
