Fuel Line Routing

I pulled the fuel selector valve off because I had ordered a new one. I thought I had sat the lines down where I knew how they were hooked up but I can't remember the correct order now. I tired looking at the top of the tank but I can't make out where it's labeled. I just need to know which lines off the tank go where.

The top ring of the fuel bafel is clearly marked. vent, on, ret, res. Four nipples. Use a light & magnifier to see top ring of fuel Bafel.

vent = line goes to a T, one goes up, has a oneway check vale to in breather grommet under hood , one goes out under rub rail, also a check
oneway valve.

on = goes to bafel straw 1 1/2" from bottom of bafel, this goes to fuel selector switch

Ret = fuel return line that dumps pushed fuel from carb into the fuel bafel

Res = reserve, this connects the longest bafel straw (tank bottom) this goes to fuel selector switch

The fuel selector also is clearly marked, on, res, out. Out goes to the water separator filter, then carburetor (fuel supply line)

That's the problem, I can't seem to see the clearly marked fuel bafel markings. What is the order for the nipples, vent, on, ret, res. (Front, rear, left, right).

Fuel Bafels nipple orientatation can differ as several suppliers mfr'd them. try a mirror & light to see.
The ON and the Reserve are opposite each other (and have to be). The return & vent just are open into the bafel chamber, so either will work, also are opposite each other. So that said, if you can see just one marked ON or RES, you can figure it out.

just replaced the magnet in my sending unit on mine there is two wires coming out of the top of the baffel to the left of the wires is the reserve clock wise is the on next was return then vent hope this helps oh yea mine was marked on the side above the rubber

If its hooked up wrong you wont hear bubbles in the tank when you blow through line...
