fuel level backwards

I had a local BRP dealer put it a SBT engine I purchased. While it was at the dealership, they find a fuel tank/something fuel related recall and they performed the recall too.

Now the fuel level is backwards/upside down.
When the tank is full the gauge shows empty and the red low fuel light is on. When the fuel level in the tank drops, the light goes out and gauge level moves up?

Any help, advice or insight will be most appreciated..

Take it back and tell them to fix it. They messed it up. Sounds like they stuck a wrong sender in it.

They messed up a good deal more than the fuel level gauge. Don't really want to give them a chance to screw up more.

They told me that they used my sending unit. I think they only replaced the tank under the recall..
