Fresh Water Intake

From reading it sounds as if the water cooling the jet drive runs out of the fresh water inlet, so it should not be blocked when running.

When performing the wash out, does it matter if you turn the water on before you start the engine?

If it does and it takes about 5 seconds to get back to the rear of the boat to turn on the water supply, is that ok?

How long does it take for the bearing to heat up, with no water ?

the flush fitting for flushing out the exhaust system is the fitting that is a 3/4" female hose fitting sticking out next to jet pump assembly, that is where you hook up your water hose to, and water will exit inside the jet pump at the top where it looks like small holes and also some out of your exhaust pipe. when flushing, you want to start engine first before turning on water, 5 seconds between is fine, and then when done, you want to shut water off water first, run engine for a few seconds, then shut down engine. In the manual it say's, not to run the boat out of water longer than 5 minutes, because the drive seal does not have any cooling
